Founder and CEO

After graduating Shawnee Mission South High School, I became a Kansas State Wildcat and earned my degree in 1987. I cherish the friendships made as a member of Sigma Nu fraternity. What a great group!


A competitive spirit has been valuable in my athletic pursuits and professional opportunities. I'm proud of my 30-year radio career, starting in sales and ending as general manager. We made many friends through community activities and promotions, elevating our ratings from rock bottom to number one.

Sales and Graphic/Web Designer Opening

Location: Topeka, Kansas

Hours: Part-time, flexible


Responsibilities


Marketing and Graphic Design
- Create social posts for Allan Marketing Solutions and clients.
- Assist in sponsorship management including ticket assignment and management + logistics, event related planning, and other requirements related to marketing and advertising deliverables.
- Assist in developing and implementing the company’s brand and campaign strategy.
- Create flyers and branded content for Allan Marketing Solutions and clients.
- Manage branded templates, including print collateral.
- Support client website creation and execution, specifically working with Duda.


Event Coordination
- Assist in coordinating the execution of internal and external events; including team meetings, client events, small trade shows, local events, and more. Some weekend work may be required.
- Maintain relationships with media outlets and assist in work with clients for media-related projects.
- Miscellaneous administrative tasks such as scheduling, project management, team meeting scheduling, and more.

- Ability to prioritize and manage workload, while juggling multiple projects.
- Exceptional written and verbal skills.

What Qualifications You Need
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
- Graphic design capabilities with a good eye for design.
- Knowledge of marketing using social media platforms: Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, X, and TikTok.
- Must be an excellent multitasker who is able to prioritize and execute many assignments in a quick and efficient manner.
- Requires attention to detail, exceptional follow through, and time management skills.
- Ability to successfully interact on an interpersonal level with multiple stakeholders as well as effectively communicate messaging and branding in all written communications.
- Extremely eager and motivated to learn new skills and apply knowledge for process improvement.
- Ability to demonstrate big picture strategic thinking.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Locally in Topeka area or with the ability to commute.


Nice to have, but willing to train where there are gaps
- Experience in Canva
- Video Editing and Production
- Website Designing Experience


Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED required. Marketing or related degree preferred.
- Experience in a similar role or related field (Marketing, Communications, Events) - Preferred but not required.
