Meet Our Team
I'm Jim Allan, the Founder and CEO of Allan Marketing Solutions. I’m a native New Yorker who has been a proud resident of Kansas since age 11.
After graduating Shawnee Mission South High School, I became a Kansas State Wildcat, earning a degree in 1987. To this day I treasure the many friendships made as a member of Sigma Nu fraternity. What a great bunch of guys!
A competitive spirit is a valuable attribute, beginning with the athletic pursuits I enjoyed as a young adult and continuing with the professional opportunities I welcome today. I am proud of my 30-year career in radio which began on air and in sales and concluded with the title of general manager. We garnered many friends through our many activities and promotions in the community, taking our ratings from rock bottom to number one along the way.
While success is rewarded in many ways, recognition by our peers is humbling. A big thank you goes to The Kansas Association of Broadcasters for presenting me with the Mike Oatman Award.
In turn, a decision to give back by encouraging young talent netted me five enjoyable years as an adjunct instructor of creative advertising at Washburn University. Loved it!
Life is best when balanced, Belinda and our family have many stories to tell and with faith we are living blessings.
Our time is a fine blend of weekend softball tournaments, motorcycling, golf, movies and spiritual time.
